How long will it take to find me a cleaner?
We do our best to organize a cleaner as soon as possible. It could take up to 5 working days.
Have you got an insurance?
Yes, we do. Our insurance includes public liability, personal injury and accidental damages except antiques, sentimental value items and bleach spillages.
Can I choose which day of the week the cleaner comes?
Yes, you can choose the most convenient day for you.
Can I have a cleaner for an hour?
No. Fairies Ltd requires a minimum of 2 hours per week or 3 hours fortnightly for domestic & commercial cleaning.
How do I pay for the service?
We accept the following payment methods – cheque, cash, bank transfer, credit and debit card. All cheques should be made payable to Fairies Ltd. The cheque can be given to the cleaner or posted directly to us. If you would like to make a bank transfer, please contact us and we will provide you with our bank account number.
Do I have to be at home when my cleaner comes?
You don’t have to be at home when the cleaner comes. Many of our clients are happy to provide us with a spare key.
Only Fairies office staff and the cleaner who cleans your home have access to the keys.

How do you vet your cleaners?
All candidates go through an interview with our manager. If successful, we check their proof of identity (passport or ID or Driving Licence), proof of address (utility bills or bank statement), and references from previous employers or clients.
We make sure that we hire staff that has previous experience in the cleaning sector. To maintain high levels of quality, all our new hires are provided with a comprehensive training.
Do you offer any extra services?
We offer carpet wash and oven cleaning. For your convenience, we make it easy to add any additional services. Just call us to let us know what you need.
Who provides cleaning products, materials or equipment?
The client agrees to provide cleaning materials and equipment needed, unless other arrangements have been made with Fairies Ltd. All cleaning equipment should be safe and in full working order. Please contact us, if you would like any advice regarding cleaning products or equipment.
What about keys collection?
If Fairies Ltd personnel needs to collect keys from a third party’s address outside the postal code of the premises where work is to be carried out, then a £10.00 charge may apply.
Is the estimated cost the same as the final price on the invoice?
Any estimated cost of cleaning given, is only an estimated price based on the average time required to clean the property. Price on the invoice can be higher or smaller based on the work done.
Are there any restrictions placed on the cleaner with regards to what the cleaner will clean?
Yes. The cleaner will not clean any antique or valuable items. In addition to that the cleaner will not pull out any heavy furniture, climb above 1 meter or lift heavy items. An easy access to hot and cold water is also required.

Do I need to pay extra if I want the cleaner to clean during the weekend?
No, the same rates of pay apply during the weekends.
If my cleaner goes on holiday, will it be possible to continue the service?
Yes, it is possible to continue the service. Please contact us one week before your holidays so we can arrange a replacement for your cleaner.
Can you provide references from some of your customers?
Yes, we can provide references from our current customers.
Am I going to have the same cleaner every week?
Yes. Your cleaner will work for you as long as you are happy with the service. There may be unforeseen circumstances like illness or other factors, which may require a replacement.
